An outdoor exhibit of
structures custom-designed by
area architects and
contractors, KidStructure
stretches the definition of
traditional playhouse design.
These unique and adventurous
structures encourage
interactive learning, garden
exploration, and, most
important, imagination.
    'Wouldn't You Know'...
...celebrates the lowly refrigerator box, the ultimate yard toy,
rendering it as a garden sculpture that will still be a treasured part of
the landscape after the kids have grown.
Architect: Bradley R. Milton, AIA, RDG Planning & Design
Contractor: Charles Vrana & Son Construction Company
not consult
instructions not
enclosed, although, if
so, they’re fine for
wearing on your head
or pasting on your face
with slime, or better
yet set out to find
some rocks with
diamonds hidden in
them. Climb in box with
1 or 10 or 20 other
kids, or not, then
sneak away without a
sound to peek around
for dragon wings and
other ordinary things
that usually reside
inside a hundred tons
or more of mud. Now
pluck a bunch of roses
for a posy for your
mom and wrap a garter
snake partway around
your neck and then go
in to check on what’s
for breakfast.
